We're Getting Maui'd - Hawaiian Wedding Invitations

DIY Hawaiian Wedding Invitations

We are having a small wedding in Maui, Hawaii with 30 guests and decided to create our own personalized invitations. We designed an invitation from Zazzle.com with a tropical theme on linen paper. We also created a monogram for the RSVP cards. We then went to the 'Trimmings' store in NY and purchased loose swarovski crystals to add to the invitations. We also purchased silk invitation boxes (black), swarovski crystal buckles and sheer green ribbon. We also made a stamp of our monogram (stamped pieces of card stock and punched two round holes with a regular hole-puncher in the side to make a label with our monogram). As a final touch, we took sheer green tissue paper (as one would put in a gift bag) and used our monogram stamper to stamp our monogram on it.

One last thing, we purchased old vintage postcards of Hawaii and printed travel information on the back.
