Wedding Favors for any Wedding Theme!
Well of course you could just Make your own wedding favors! If you're burnt out after making your own invitations buying wedding favors is the way to go. My favorite is the candle favor by far. I like them because they can double as a decoration for the wedding and then be brought home after the wedding reception. I used candles as favors at my wedding. I used flower arrangements too. I placed the candles in a way so that every guest had a candle holder and votive at their place. The tables were so large that it worked quite well. They were lit when everyone arrived so that it created ambiance for the atmosphere. The guests all took them home after the party was over. When everyone left they had taken most of all my decorations hom,e with them as favors so that every table was already cleaned up after all the guests left! :)~
I actually find alot of the favors offered in stores and online to be kind of tacky. Although I recently came across a website that actually impressed me with their selection and the prices aren't bad to boot! It's called MyWeddingFavors.com and they have quite alot of different, elegant and unique favors to offer. Their selection doesn't end with the favors. They also offer many accessories like gifts for bridesmaids and groomsmen, ringbearer accessories, guest book sets and such.
And I have to say that I love their selection of candle favors. There are many beautiful gel candles with flowers suspended within the gel. I like the ones with the orchids suspended inside the glass. There are also many themed candles like asian inpired double happiness candles, many seashell and beach themed candles, and the "lucky in love" card suits candles for a vegas style wedding theme. The site makes it easy to navigate and search by theme or by type of favor.
I also have to mention the many other non-candle type of favors offered on the site. One that caught my eye - a salt and pepper shaker shaped to look like two peas in a pod. So cute! I could picture them as a decoration on a reception table for a spring wedding with lots of pastel color themes. They could actually be filled with salt and pepper so the guests could use them with their meal and then take them home after.
There is also place card favors, bookmarks, picture frames, cookie cutters, egg timers. Too many to keep listing. Just go and check it out for yourself!
