Supplies:
• 8x11 Tiffany Blue Card Stock for the cards • 8x11 Silver Metallic Paper and Solid Aqua Paper from www.paperandmore.com • 8x11 White Vellum Paper from Hobby Lobby store • 8x11 Regular White Printer Paper • Fiskars Rotary Paper Trimmer • Martha Stewart Wedding Ring Shaped Hole Punch • Martha Stewart Scoring Board • Rhinestones Stickers • 1" X 1-1/2 White Satin Ribbon Bow Baby Bows • 3M Scotch Double Sided Tape • Elmers Glue • 3D FOAM DOTS Double Sided SQUARE I am one of the big fans of the most loved films,'Breakfast at Tiffany's, so I wanted my wedding theme to be Tiffany, jewelry, shopping bags and box.
As for my invitation, my inspiration was a Tiffany's Box. The invitation is made out of 8x11 Tiffany blue cardstock. In order to look like a box, I used the Fiskars rotary trimmer to cut my paper down to 5.25"x 17". Then, I used the Martha Stewart collection bone tool to score the middle page. The actual invite measures to be 5.25"x5.25" for a square invitation.
OUTER INVITATION-DESIGN: Using the Fiskars rotary trimmer, I cut strips of Silver Metallic paper measuring 2 x 6 inch and cut small squares of Silver and Aqua Paper. I also, cut two Wedding Rings on Silver and regular white paper using the Martha Stewart ring-shaped hole punch.
GLUING: First, I apply glue to both ends of the Silver strip (2 x 6 inch) to the Tiffany blue cardstock using the Scotch Double Sided Tape. Then, I glued the Aqua square paper to Silver square paper. At the back of Silver square this time I used 3D Foam Sticker to make the squares pop up. I also used 3D Foam Sticker and stick the small White Satin Ribbon. For the rings, I glued them together using Elmer’s glue. For the final touch-ups, I used rhinestones stickers to create a stunning and elegant result.
INSIDE INVITATION: I made a template in Microsoft Word document for all of my inserts and printed them out using 8x11 Vellum Paper. To make the inserts square I cut them to 5.25"x5.25".
Voila! Simple yet very time-consuming. Enjoy!
