We all want wording and verses that are clever or unique, or simply adhere to what is acceptable within etiquette. So I'm here to help you out.

When creating and making your own invitations one detail that is hugely important but often an afterthought, is writing the wording for the invitation. At a loss for words? Here are our tips for writing your own wording. Write wording or verses that will stand out and be remembered, keep it simple, or even use a poem or favorite quote.

  • Clever wording that is fun and sweet is always a welcome sight on any invitation. But be extra mindful that you do not forget to include important details in your quest to be clever. Try to be concise and to the point.
  • Writing wording for a wedding or extra special event? The best wording is that which is uniquely "you". Don't hold back! Write with your own voice and speak from the heart and soul. Be sincere! Your guests will appreciate it all the more.
  • Poetry anyone? Poems, lyrics, or famous and inspirational quotes. These are all great choices for including on your invitations and greeting cards! There are tons of fabulous websites available for you to look up appropriate verses and sayings for your invites.
