Handmade Paper Invitation

I bought this handmade paper from a fabulous Ebay seller, who makes these beautiful papers when she is not teaching art school. Then I printed my invitation wording on a vellum sheet. It took me a while to figure out how to do this without my printer shredding the fine paper. When printing on vellum for a handmade paper wedding invitation, make sure and set your printer for printing on vellum paper, and print SLOW!

I tied the bows myself but I would not recommend this to anyone unless you have all the patience in the world. You can buy pre-tied bows. I used double sided tape to attach the bows and vellum to the paper.

For the response cards I copied the handmade paper in the copy machine to get the same look. To mimic the texture, I bought linen card stock and printed paper design on the card stock, followed by the wording for the response card.
