This invitation was created using some craft paper and also one of the printable wedding invitation templates form this website. I used the template to create the text and decoration for the inside of the invitation, and also a RSVP card.

I created a pocket using some 12" by 12" decorative cardstock K & Company (called Sea Glass Shell Squares), some cardstock from Bazzill Basics (12x12 Rain), and some 12" by 12" specialty paper that had silky strands running through it like handmade paper.
First I cut the decorative cardtsock in half. I measured over about half an inch from the right side of the cardstock and folded over a flap. I then brought the left side to meet the right and folded the paper.
To created the pocket by cutting the colored cardstock into quarters to create 4 pieces of 6 by 6 paper. I measured to find the center of the piece and made a dot with my pencil. I then cut from the dot the the top and bottom edges on the right hand side of the paper. I did this using a ruler and an exacto knife.
I lined the inside of the decorative cardstock with the handmade fiber paper by applying some permanent adhesive to the paper with a glue runner. I then attached the pocket piece by running the glue along three edges of the cardstock pocket and affixing it to the left hand side of the inside of the card.

To create the text and RSVP for the invitation I Used the damask template purchased here on the site. I printed it and cut it out, then attached it to the same Bazzill Basics cardstock in Rain. I made my RSVP cards the same way. I placed the RSVP into the pocket and simply laid the invitation into the inside of the pocket card.

To top it off I tied a ribbon around the outside of the card with some natural fiber looking ribbon I found at a craft store.
