Boppy Pillows Make
Great Baby Shower Gifts

When I was having my shower I actually added Boppy pillows to my Baby Shower Gifts registry. I had already heard about this award winning pillow. These pillows are absolutoly wonderful. I even took it to the hospital with me when I went to have my baby. I will tell you I pretty much carried mine around with me for the first four months of my baby's life.
There are also kidney bean shaped Boppy pillows that are for the pregnant mom. Although these are a good gift to purchase well before the baby shower. They are shaped just right so that Mom can sleep with part of the pillow between her knees and the other part tucked under just enough to prop up the baby belly. I had one and I don't know what I would do without it. It was a pre baby shower gift and I still sleep with it to this day. They do say that it takes quite awhile to get used to sleeping with just one pillow like you did before the pregnancy :)

* Boppy pillows are amazing breast feeding pillow. I used mine for breast feeding right from the begining and I will tell you it made things a whole lot easier for me. The pillow props the baby up just right so that your arms are free to do other things. While breastfeeding I was even able to sit at my computer and surf the net or work on the website or do whatever...

* Boppy pillows make a great baby seat even for newborns! These pillows are shaped just right so that you can place baby right into the middle and still have their head and legs supported. My daughter loved hers and still uses it to sit in at 5 months old. Even if I hadn't breast fed I still would have used it Everyday.

* They are great for tummy time! It is reccomended to place a baby to sleep on their backs these day to help prevent SIDS. But now with all the time on their backs babies heads are becoming flat in the back and even losing their hair. Use the boppy pillow to prop the baby up for a little tummy time everyday and help relieve this. It also helps baby to develop neck strength.

* They have removable slip covers. You can even buy one plain and buy extra slip covers to go over them. The slip covers come in many different colors and textures to boot. I'd recommend to have more than one cover in case of accidents.

I still use my Boppy every day. Lately I have been using it to help my daughter learn to sit up on her own. I put it in her pack and play or crib and she can sit up all on her own.
