Message in a Bottle Bridal Shower Invite

Message in a Bottle Bridal Shower Invite

I found this one invitation on Party City's website of a message in a bottle. Unfortunately the price for a pack of 10 was outrageous! I decided that I could make my own for a lot less and a lot prettier! I used a soft blue scrapbook cardstock for the bottle. I printed a scroll clip art onto parchment-patterned scrapbook paper and just did a text box onto the scroll to input my information. The sand is actual sand paper that I cut into wavy strips and added seashell die cuts. The cork is actual cork that comes in in sheets or round discs at the craft store. My bridesmaids and I had a bottle of wine and made 40 invites in about 2 hours in an assembly line. They got rave reviews and I did all 40 (With supplies left over) for about $20!
