Baby Sprinkle Invite

I hosted a second baby shower for my sister. Because she already had a child I named it a baby sprinkle....the little poem on the back gave guests an idea of what to bring.

The invite is made of two pieces of blue card. I sandwiched a piece of ribbon and material between the two pieces of card, to make the lacy edging and a blanket.

I put two black buttons on for wheels, and a piece of black card for the prams handle.

After her baby sprinkle I made a scrapbook page for her, using the invite idea for little embellishments.

Poem on Invite
by: Carol Burger

Pins, diapers,
bottles galore,
Karin and Hennie
are having one more.
Big sister, Alyssa
has plenty to share.
This is only a "sprinkle" to
show that we care.

Please remember this one thing,
As this is Baby Number Two this simple thing we ask of you,
Most they have, but a few they need.
Smaller items like nappies, and bottles to feed,
Socks and vests, sweet and pretty, they?ll sure bring a smile
As a baby will be coming, in just a short while!
But if you?re still stuck and in need a clue,
Just give me a call and I will help you!"

Karin prefers to use Elizabeth Anne and Pamper products!
Please wrap your gift in a terrycloth nappy or blanket,
and attach a small poem describing what is inside
and/or baby photo of yourself.
