A Royal Wedding Invitation

The Royalty
I chose this design because it has a vintage edge to it but it still looks elegant all at the same time. I started with black and white cardstock paper. The black was a little more heavy than the white because the black cardstock is the backing layer and the white is the invitation layer. The cardstock is all one size (8.5 X 11). The black cardstock was simply cut in half (in the orientation setup). I created the invite wording in MS Word using the same size paper but making text boxes that were about 7.82 X 5 in size. I cut these out and adhere them to the black backing layer with glue dots. I then print the clear vellum (8.5 X 11) with the custom monogram on both sides and line them up while punching two holes in the top for the red satin ribbon. I think the ribbon really makes the program as well as the colors stand out. I also decided to add a little bling to the monogram with crystals. This says royalty!!!! I hope you ladies like them just as much as I do. I am very proud of myself. :-)
